Mother's Day Gift Guide + Discount Code
Our mothers do so much for us and with Mother’s Day coming up on Sunday the 13th of May, we want to help you find that special gift that will brighten her day. Our gifts are all ethically made by artisans, many who are mothers, in their own homes and work spaces. They are gifts made with intention, purpose, tradition and meaning, sure to make your mother smile.
When searching for a Mother’s Day gift, our one of a kind Corazon Pom Poms are a great place to start. The beautifully embroidered hearts were handcrafted by women from the Jolom Mayaetik Weaving Cooperative. They are a lovely addition to any home, by hanging them from a door knob or hook on a wall.
Who doesn’t love a sleep in on special occasions? Prepare breakfast in bed and gift your mum a beautiful blanket to snuggle up with. These Ikat beauties have all been naturally dyed and handwoven on a backstrap loom by the Single Mother’s Cooperative of San Juan La Laguna. Each purchase from this group of women directly supports their children. It is a mother’s day gift that not only holds a lovely meaning and purpose, but something that your mother will cherish for years and years.
We are honoured to work with so many incredible Mothers. Here I am pictured with Ingrid, Betty and their mother Victoria from the Single Mothers Cooperative. Ingrid is also a mother and they create the amazing Ikat Throws that we have online.
It is rare to find clutch bags as unique as these! Our clutch collection features designs from Guatemala and Mexico, many being one of a kind. Choose the colour or textile that compliments your mum/partner/wife's personality, there are so many to choose from.
We truly appreciate you shopping with us for these special occasions and to say thanks, here is a 15% discount code - MAMA15 to help you with your Mother’s Day Shopping... or maybe you just want to treat yourself?! The code is valid from today until Sunday the 13th of May, however if you live in Australia, be sure to order before Wednesday the 9th for delivery before Mother's Day.
Have a great weekend!

Today we are launching a very special collection that is so close to our hearts and we want to give you all an insight into how these pieces came to be.
We often get asked about how we connect with our artisan partners. For us, we have found most of our makers by being on the ground in Mexico or Guatemala. We do a lot of research and spend time in each community. It can be difficult to form new partnerships while living in Australia, so sometimes we come across makers via the wonders of social media.
