The Flora Cushion has a beautifully subtle design that is set against a warm backdrop. Each cushion is traditionally hand woven on a backstrap loom by women from the Jolom Mayaetik Weaving Co-operative in San Cristobal de las Casas, Mexico. The cushion design appears to look like flowers, however is a sacred Maya representation of a toad, as the toad symbolises a fertile earth and the beginning of rain. These woven motifs are featured on the front and the back is a solid matched colour with a tied envelope opening for the cushion insert.
Due to their hand woven nature, each Flora Cushion takes 1 week to create. The striking colours of the cushions can bring warmth to your lounge, bed or favourite chair. They pair beautifully with our Mustard Diamante Cushions, as each style complements the other. The Flora Cushion does not come with an insert, so that you have the opportunity to find your perfect inner.
