Yochib Blouse

The vertical stripes and earthy tones of the Yochib Blouse are a perfect combination! This beautiful design was handwoven traditionally on a backstrap loom. After the front and back of the blouse was woven, the two panels were stitched together. A unique design was then hand embroidered onto the centre, sleeves and neckline, making this blouse one of a kind.

The neckline embroidery features two rays on the front and back which are motifs of an ancient Maya design. The difficulty involved in the handmade process means that this blouse takes 1 week to create. The boxy shape pairs perfectly with boyfriend jeans or denim shorts, so you can wear this beauty all year round!
